Sexy cleaning man

I have been snapping random pictures with my new camera since I got it and I’ve got to say there is something extremely sexy about a man who is willing to get down and clean.

A 2008 recap that is. Mine is centered highly on Randy obviously but.. here goes. I’d just like to say 2008 was hard and sucked and 2009 better be 1000x better.

January Randy and I didn’t have a release date yet so it was stressful. I got my appendix removed and spent 2 days in the hospital
February Randy was moved 4 1/2 hours away to shock camp with an expected release date of July 31st. I freaked out at only seeing him 2x a month and talking for 20 minutes a month. I also cheated on him with 2 different guys. I told him half of the story and he forgave me. I also built my very first computer from the ground up.
March He got kicked out of shock camp due to a mental breakdown b/c of what I did and was moved to Mohawk, 157 miles away. His ERD changed to Dec 1st. The rest of the February happenings were put on the table. It was a rough month for both of us mentally but we survived.
April I got a job working at Darien Lake and did training. I also went to Maryland with Stacy for a weekend.
May I began working more and more. I loved my job.
June Work, Work, Work
July Randy’s parole hearing occurred and he was granted so we knew for sure he was coming home December 1st. It was a great stress relief.
August Randy filed paternity paperwork and was given a date in September to take the test. I was getting sick of work. We camped out and it sucked. We had to deal with rain for 3 straight days.
September I went back to working weekends only which meant no visits for the entire month. It was rough being apart for so long but we managed obviously. We went to talking 2x a day again. Our address was approved for him to parole to. I built my 2nd computer as well.
October I turned 21 and went out and got drunk at the bar. It was a good day. I got to see Randy after too long. We found out Dillion wasn’t Randy’s child so that was a great positive spin. I began doing ChaCha and made over $900 for November. I also finished off working at Darien Lake for the season.
NovemberAnticipation drove me nuts all month long waiting for Randy to come home. I voted in my first presidential election as well.
December Randy came home after being gone for a year. This month has been lots and lots of “Us” time. We’re reconnecting and getting used to living with each other again. Mom’s car was also totaled on the way to get him thanks to someone speeding in bad weather. She bought a 2000 trailblazer instead.

It was a rough year. Bring on 2009! Tonight is all about Rockband and non alcoholic drinks. Peace out!

Vehicle woes continue

Posted in Uncategorized by Manda | No Comments »

Well, mom THOUGHT the work she put into her truck was enough but we drove it to the garage today to get inspected and as SOON as we pulled in the “service engine soon” light came on. He ran the tester and the catalytic converter needs to be replaced. She bought it for $1,000 and has put in a few parts (including a brand new windshield today) so hopefully she’s doing that this week and FINALLY we’ll have a reliable vehicle to be using.

Otherwise, life is just peachy as always. Randy and I are going on day to day being bored and hoping he can get a job so we can move out and have some more independence. “Us” time has definitely taken a priority over many other things. We’re getting the selfish “spend money on us” out of the way before we begin looking at designers such as catimini for baby clothes and such. I will admit, I’m drawn to the baby section every time I walk into a store though.. *innocent face*

In some time…

Thank gosh for laptops

This past weekend Randy’s buddy came over and they all played call of duty for 12 hours. It bored me to tears so I formatted my laptop to kill some time since it needed it. Now it’s pretty much empty. I’m thinking I ought to look into using my USB drive, thank god for having flash memory and not having to waste DVD disks, to transfer a few files onto it. This is especially true for tomorrow since Randy has to check into parole and that means sitting at his mom’s house. I get bored there quite a bit depending on the day.
