Welcome to the family Pebbles

Well my aunt and uncle had my favorite one of the bunch and they don’t want her (They irritate me, srsly) so I decided I’m going to take care of her. I went out and bought all the stuff she needs tonight and spent like $50 on all of it. She luckily is still here with her mommy and daddy so she’s not whiny or lonely. So adorable, she’s been my favorite since they were 2 weeks old. I can’t believe in about a week she’ll be 2 months. Wow! You can see some pics of her right here. She’s grown so fast. Aww, my fuzzy little girl.

Her again, she looks so much like her daddy

residential lighting in order at the party
Posted by Manda on May 10th, 2008 filed in Uncategorized
I totally forgot that today we were having a surprise party for my mom, aunt, and uncle since all their birthdays were in 3 weeks of one another. It’s nuts! There is so much food, so many people, and tons of loudness. I have a headache right now and I have to leave for work in an hour and I’m bringing my laptop so I can watch a few movies. Otherwise I’m going to pass out sitting on that stool. It’s bright in here and any other time I’d be happy to have some brightness with improved residential lighting fixtures. I LOVE light anytime that my head isn’t killing me.
We’ve also only got 1 puppy remaining and it’s the one that I’ve been attached to since it was 2 weeks old. You can tell I’m hoping that she doesn’t get taken by anybody else. :-p I’ll miss her when she’s gone. Umm, otherwise IDK what to say. It’s hard to think with 15 people running around talking, drinking, and just being LOUD overall.
It’s also been 14 days tomorrow since I’ve seen Randy. We have NEVER gone any longer than 18 days without seeing each other. Since I can’t visit next week it’s going be at LEAST 28 days. It might not seem like a lot to some people but… :-\ Effing money + working the night shift = Sucky for visitation.

Fun times begin

I miss some things of living on my own like dealing with all the finances that surrounded it, not having irritating people around, and just the feeling of independence that someone has when they’re living on their “own” away from their parents. Financially we had an issue though so we had to get a room mate and him and his girlfriend decided that they were going to bring their friends over and use our kitchen table to play beer pong and I’d come home to beer cans and cups everywhere. They might have benefited from having a portable beer pong table to store away when the party time was all said and done. I won’t ever have any experience with this but it’d be a unique gift for someone who is into the whole partying thing. With Randy being on parole in November and all of that I think it’d be a bad idea to bring something like that around.

Oh the drama

You remember I just talked about how irritating Randy’s family was being? I got an update today that his brother got beat up and I wonder why??? The people they hang out with and their behaviors they indulge in are ALL drama filled and they asked for it. I was upset when Pat left and moved out and we stopped hanging out because I felt shunned and almost like I lost my big brother but at the same time it’s a blessing. The trouble with the law, trouble amongst each other, and all their issues are way too intense for me. I have enough on my plate and I like my quiet life that stays in the country. So drama, stay in Batavia!

Calling cards would be nice
Posted by Manda on May 9th, 2008 filed in Uncategorized
I had to pay GTL $75 today for not even a month of calling 1 and sometimes 2 times per day at only 30 minutes per call. It bites the big one and we have to cut down now to one every other day so I don’t break my bank. It would be AWESOME if they would allow inmates to use calling cards because financially it’d be so much easier on both the inmates and their families. They have calling cards for calling overseas and to pretty much any other country from the United States, why not prisons? The idea has been brought up but I don’t think it’s ever been followed through. I wish they would but in 6 1/2 months this crap is all going to be a memory so we won’t have to worry.
