Wordpress issues eliminated and a vacation in the near future

Hopefully the wordpress issue is solved now. I replaced 2 of the files in the wordpress directory to turn off the autosave feature which has been the problem, thanks to the suggestion of Jess and we can now hope to avoid any future wordpress frustrations.

Things have been going really well for me.

I’ve got 5 weeks left of school now that today is over. I’ve got tests and papers coming up and this or that but I’m trying to keep up so that when I do actually have the exams and such the stress isn’t as high as it is usually with all the cramming, since they seem to all fall either on the same day or within 1-2 days of each other. Ick. I’ll probably begin my paper for INF tonight actually and maybe if I get uber productive do a lab or some reading. We’ll see. The next month ought to go by fast though. I’ve got lots of stuff to do and I also am taking off for about a week. I’m leaving on April 6th to go to WV and returning on April 12th. Nice mini vacation causing me to miss 4 days of school but I’ll deal, I always do.

As for life in general it’s been good. On the Randy front we celebrated our 3 month (already?!) anniversary yesterday. He’s moved up to 5 hours outside of the house and next week he’s bumped to 7, then 8, then he’ll get unlimited as long as he’s back for dinner and such. He also gets a weekend pass once his 6 weeks hits. He’s already on his 4th so…. yeah. I’ve been going to AA meetings with him and we also have had leisure time too. We mainly sit and talk and we’re learning so much about each other everyday. He also calls me 3-5 times during the day, it definitely has gotten easier as time has gone on. It also helps that when I get the urge to see him, I can. I spent everyday but Wednesday up with him and tomorrow I’m taking his mom up. I miss him right after I leave him. This is love… and it’s amazing. I also saw Niagara Falls for the first time today. Absolutely breathtaking, and I got to see all the awesome Canadian attractions on the other side. It’ll be nice to see in the summer too. I’ll get pics of it all next time I go, I forgot my camera today.

    I’m glad your Wordpress issues are solved now. Lets hope they stay that way. I’m glad you got to see Randy over your break more than usual. Those pictures are so cute. The last one is so cute with your puppy, lol.

    I think (hope) the category problem is fixed also, but I’m not sure… A serveradmin tweaked some settings and said to log out, clear your cache and log back in.
    I’d check it (and read the rest of your entry) but I’m getting on a plane in about 15 minutes, so I’ll check it later!

    Two new studies show why some people are more attractive for members of the opposite sex than others.

    The University of Florida, Florida State University found that physically attractive people almost instantly attract the attention of the interlocutor, sobesednitsy with them, literally, it is difficult to make eye. This conclusion was reached by a series of psychological experiments, which were determined by the people who believe in sending the first seconds after the acquaintance. Here, a curious feature: single, unmarried experimental preferred to look at the guys, beauty opposite sex, and family, people most often by representatives of their sex.

    The authors believe that this feature developed a behavior as a result of the evolution: a man trying to find a decent pair to acquire offspring. If this is resolved, he wondered potential rivals. Detailed information about this magazine will be published Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.

    In turn, a joint study of the Rockefeller University, Rockefeller University and Duke University, Duke University in North Carolina revealed that women are perceived differently by men smell. During experiments studied the perception of women one of the ingredients of male pheromone-androstenona smell, which is contained in urine or sweat.

    The results were startling: women are part of this repugnant odor, and the other part is very attractive, resembling the smell of vanilla, and the third group have not felt any smell. The authors argue that the reason is that the differences in the receptor responsible for the olfactory system, from different people are different.

    It has long been proven that mammals (including human) odor is one way of attracting the attention of representatives of the opposite sex. A detailed article about the journal Nature will publish.
