J-J-J-Jooooob

Well well well, I didn’t anticipate being able to update this soon after my previous entry but I’ve got the chance to get online so I’m taking advantage of it. I went to rite-aid this morning to drop off my application and the store manager took it and said as soon as my pre-screening comes back they’ll get me in for an interview and start the exact same day. So, that is going to take quite the load off of my shoulders.

I’m not too sure of when this is going to be but it will be rather nice. Nellie is pushing for Bert and Mary to get into their own house and out of ours. I’m so excited to be able to decorate and everything like that. I miss having my own space where I can walk around my house whenever I want and do anything I want as well. I just need to be patient but living here isn’t so bad either. We’ve got a really big room with our computers, dvd player, ps2, wii, and an AWESOME air conditioner which makes this room ice cold. It runs 24/7. We’re definitely going to have to invest in one living here. It gets so hot and sticky, very very humid too. I wouldn’t go back to NY for anything right now though, I’m loving living here and the situation is just so much more positive. I’m loads happier than I’ve ever been in NY, I swear.

It could also be attributed to the fact that I’ve had a lot of time to just veg out when usually I’m working constantly and always worrying about this or that commitment. I can’t wait to begin my new life down here though… I also am loving that I live with my aunt (who is only 30 so we can relate on a few things), uncle (47, very chill and relaxed. Him and Randy get along great), 3 girl cousins (9, 7, 5) and boy cousin (1 1/2). Lots of noise, lots of commotion but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I adore these kids and they have really started looking up to both Randy and I as older siblings almost.

It’s nice to be writing about happy things instead of drama, depression, and stress. Getting away from some of that in NY helped too, loads.
