Well I told you I’d write another work related entry about the good parts of working in a grocery store but that’s not happening anymore. That’s right, you read it right. I quit today because I can’t stand my boss and no one else there can either. Good luck finding a single employee there that can stand her. Also good luck finding anyone who has worked there any longer than a year, no one does because they can’t put up with all her bullshit for that long. She can’t expect to make employees feel like shit on a constant basis for absolutely nothing. She also can’t tell us one thing, have us do it, then bitch because she wanted us to do something totally different. That’s just the icing on the cake though, there’s so much more wrong with working at that place. I feel a major sense of relief because everyday I dreaded going into work to have to deal with her and all the crap associated with working there.

She needs to learn some major people skills. We may work for you and be cashiers, csls, and stock people but we are indeed PEOPLE and deserve to be treated as such. A simple thank you here and there is all we asked for, or some tact in how to ask someone to do something. I mean it’s not my fault something didn’t get done last night. It’s not Janice’s either considering she worked 7-4 or Joleen because she also worked 7-4. Go to the source and stop making everyone else miserable working there. The job is just fine but you, Nancy Larson, are a royal c*** and I know you hate your life and are miserable with it (as we’ve all heard you bitch about owning a grocery store and blah blah blah) but stop taking it out on us. That is why Janice isn’t showing tomorrow and Joleen isn’t coming back after her baby is born next month. Oh, and why Diane has been job searching and intending on putting her 2 week in soon. Good luck finding another morning crew like us, especially those of us who will drop everything to come in when you’re short or stay late b/c you messed up the schedule or someone didn’t show. We do our work and with a smile on our faces until you show up, then everything turns sour.
