Currently my bedroom has the following items for furniture. These include a bed, 2 desks, 2 desk chairs, a bookcase, and a dresser. What’s missing you ask? A big comfy couch because it won’t fit in here and we wouldn’t be able to get it up here anyways. However, if I was that lucky I wouldn’t be hesitant to order furniture online. There is only 1 decent furniture store in my area and they’re somewhat pricey so I’m obviously wanting to do a decent amount of price comparisons. Maybe I can do it a bit more before I actually get to have somewhere that allows me to decorate to my liking.

I’d like to take this moment to say that I’m a member of two websites that are paid to blog services, PayPerPost and Smorty and they both pay well and as promised. Smorty is once a week (which is a godsend because it’s almost instant money) and they’ve very reliable to use. They have a nice interface and reliability, although approval times can take a few days but that’s alright because if you’re doing your job and getting compensated it still does the same purpose. PayPerPost pays 30 days from the post date, allows 3 per day, and offers the potential to make a LOT of money if you stick with it and take it on like a “real” job. If you’re looking to get another job on top of what you do now, check some of the websites that offer P2B opportunities because you will be surprised with how much easier it makes finances flow.
If you’d like to join either of these services click the banners below (and yes, I get a small portion for the referral. I’m not going to hide or lie about it)

When going holiday shopping I actively look for good deals and unique items as well and sometimes these items are on smaller, not as well known sites. It helps when they have a good shopping cart software to help make the checkout process speedy and efficient. I’ve always been more trustworthy of simple sites that have the look and feel of something very professional, as opposed to something that is simply a website set up by someone trying to make a few bucks. It not only shows that you are taking your business seriously but it also shows that you’ve got a motto of serving customers instead of just trying to profit. If you don’t care about your customers and give them a reason to return then how do you expect to stay in business? Having good software in anything from product inventory to shopping carts to any other type of e-commerce software is extremely important in order to bring in a wide customer base and keep it flowing as well. If you’ve got any other tips for small business owners just starting up their websites what type of advice would you offer them? Feel free to leave it in the comments!

I’ve been watching America’s next top model since Season 1 and it’s just been going down the drain every single season. The hypocrisy annoys me with telling the girls to look sexy, showing them how, and then saying they look hoochy. Or by saying they have no personality but when showing it being told they have “too much”. It’s also been irritating when they decide every single season that they’re going to cut someone’s hair completely off and either give them a weave or leave it short and expect them not to be upset in the least about it. My ultimate hated moment though was when they eliminated Brooke (who was 17) on her graduation night and gave her flack for being upset over it because “all those walking the stage didn’t have this opportunity”. PFFFFFFFFFFT! How ridiculous.
Tonight’s elimination pissed me off as well though. I won’t ruin it for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet but ugh…. I tell you it’s frustrating to see. I loved the eliminated person and hope she goes way further now that she doesn’t have the ANTM winner stigma attached to her.
Johnny Depp has been in loads of movies from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to Pirates of the Caribbean and even some of his older ones such as What’s Eating Gilbert Grape or Edward Scissor hands. I’ve seen a lot of his movies but my favorite two (if I HAVE) to choose then I’m going to have to choose Edward Scissorhands and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black pearl. He does phenomenal in both of the movies.
I used to own Edward Scissorhands back when VHS was the way to go with television but replaced it with the DVD version because it’s a movie I’m never going to stop loving. My favorite part in it is when Johnny (Edward) shows that he truly has emotions and isn’t someone to be feared. He isn’t some freak because he’s been locked away and hasn’t been socialized yet, especially when he’s attacking Jim when he’s trying to help him but his fingers get in the way and he ends up harming him. He gets scared and runs away back to his house when he hears the police sirens due to fear. He can’t have his love Kim (Wynonna Rider) and the fact that she tells the story as an old woman is heart retching as well.
He can do other types of characters though, as shown by his role as Jack Sparrow in the first Pirates of the Carribean movie.
My favorite part of Pirates of the Caribbean is probably the whole thing, I can’t pick a specific part though because Jack Sparrow’s personality throughout the whole movie makes it what it is. His sense of humor is adult and cryptic with his cracks constantly but again, it makes the movie what it is and draws someone in. His quotes such as “But you have heard of me” when Norrington says “”You are without doubt the worst pirate I’ve ever heard of.” I’m also fond of the exchange between the following exchange between Jack and Will…
Jack: One question about your business, boy. There’s no use going. This girl.. How far are you willing to go to save her?”
Will: “I’d die for her.”
Jack: “Oh, good. No worries then.”
Both of these movies are phenomenal along with loads more movies that he stars or even plays a minuscule part in. I still favor Edward Scissorhands over Pirates due to the fact that I’ve seen it so many times and have watched it to the point of almost memorizing it. When I heard that he’s got another movie coming out (Also from Tim Burton, like Scissorhands), Sweeney Todd, I got excited and definitely want to check it out to see what else he can do. He plays as a man who was unjustly sent to prison and vows revenge for his punishment but also for the effect it has had on his family as well. You can also find out information about the movie when you visit the official Sweeney Todd movie site or even visit Sweeney Todd on MySpace.
