Installing wordpress locally… who knew?
I just managed to find this PHENOMENAL tutorial on how to create a WP theme from scratch that actually EXPLAINS what everything does and why you do it. It also told me how to install wordpress locally so you basically have a dummy blog on your localhost (computer) to experiment with so your actual site isn’t touched until tweaking is done. No extra uploading, anything. I’m so thrilled with this. Am I extremely out of the loop here or did anyone else not know you could do this? Oh, I guess including a couple links might help too.
Oh. My brother also found this kick butt website for downloading ring tones that is truly free. No service fees, nothing except the fee to receive a picture message (Verizon charges me a quarter). You can upload your own song and snip it to make the ringtone or request you get sent one. It’s Myxer.com. I have bartender by Akon, Paralyzer by Finger11, and When I look into your eyes by the Jonas brothers. I think i’m gonna go and get Baby by Sara Evans and some others. It really helps me because my phone is a Verizon but isn’t compatible with Verizon’s get it now service, so no ring tones are available for me through them. I was considering getting a new phone as a result but now… I’m in love with my phone.

Thanks for sharing the links, especially the ringtone one. I’ve been looking for a site like that for a while.
