The after Christmas Day Post

Wednesday, December 26th, 2007

I have to make the after Christmas day post of course, right? Sure thing. My day was pretty good yesterday considering the circumstances weren’t exactly ideal. We opened gifts, napped, went to grandma’s and opened gifts, came home. Mom cooked dinner and then a couple friends came over and we all socialized and I had a couple drinks and got a tad bit tipsy with vodka and OJ. Today I got up, showered, talked to my lover boy *YAY*, and then mom and I dropped my defective power supply off at UPS. Thennnnnnn I went and saw Jay at Timebomb and he quoted me $75 for my tattoo and I’ve got an appointment at 4:00 on Friday. I’m so incredibly excited to get this done. Pat’s coming with me of course. And now everything that I got for Christmas…

Busy Busy days, christmas shopping, sister in town

Sunday, December 23rd, 2007

It’s been a day or two since I’ve blogged but I’ve thankfully been a busy busy girl. Who isn’t during the holiday season though?

Friday we did some shopping, well, 4 hours of it actually. I finished up everyone’s gifts and then we were headed out to the parking lot and my uncle and aunt from WV called and told us that he was up in NY at my grandma’s so we visited them for a bit. I took Britney for the night and we spent time wrapping gifts and watching the ever so cool Hannah Montana. ’twas fun. Then yesterday we had 2 of the girls here all day and it was so crazy. My aunt and uncle brought my wii back from WV so everyone was playing it all day long too. I hung out with Pat a bit and then picked my sister up at the bus station at 2:15am.

I also visited Randy’s mom at 2:30 in the afternoon and gave her the collages I made of each of the kids plus her family one and she just about cried. She really liked them obviously and couldn’t wait to hang them up. We talked for about 3 hours, a nice afternoon. Today was more shopping and such. Then back here where everyone in the family played the Wii and my parents kicked major ass in bowling. Then my sister and brothers all played Rayman. It was a blast. I ended up accidentally throwing the remote and hitting the ceiling at one point. (Haha, it was amusing I must say)

Tomorrow we’re going grocery shopping then coming back to clean the house, finish wrapping gifts, and then then mom is making cheesecake, pumpkin pie, and banana pudding while Tracy makes some pumpkin roll (ew). So time has been zoom zooming lately. Definitely a good thing in my mind. It’s not even 10 yet and I’m on the verge of falling asleep because it’s a bit fast paced for my usual schedule.

Dial-a-Flight

Friday, December 21st, 2007

With all that’s been going on these past three weeks I could really use a vacation. You know, something where I can just enjoy some luxuries and get out of the same day-to-day routine that seems so dull and lifeless.

Where would I like to go you ask? Well, being that I am in western NY and it IS winter I’d like to get away from the snow and cold so somewhere that is semi-warm would work. I also want to be near the ocean, I’ve never been to any. Another country would also fit because the only place out of the states I’ve been is Canada and it was for a school field trip to he Science Museum (which was spectacular btw).

I’m thinking I’d have to go with somewhere like Australia. I’ve wanted to go ever since I began following in my sister’s footsteps and listening to Silverchair. Once I learned where they were from I immediately wanted to visit. I also watched the second season of survivor and they were in none other than Australia. I will go there someday but for now I’ll have to settle with looking up information such as the price of a flight to Australia along with hotels and such so I’m not totally shocked by costs when I actually do get to make that trip.

Just a quick tattoo post

Well he designed the tattoo on paper, I took it into photoshop and made it digital. This is how they came out.

Photobucket

The only thing is that I’m adding in lines above/below the text to make it look like a banner. If anyone knows how to do that lemme know, I’m photoshop challenged.

He wrote…. and asked me……???

HE WROTE TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He also designed his tattoo which I looooooove and am thinking I might get his design. It’s got “True Love Comes” in banner form at the top, a heart in the middle saying “AMC for life” and in banner style again “Once In A Lifetime”. He also asked me twice in the letter to marry him.

I just bawled my eyes out like a baby reading it. I’m SO happy. I also called the prison and found out they messed up his call list Friday and didn’t add me to his approvals, I was added yesterday so he’ll be calling sometime soon. He’s allowed 2-3 a week.

I can’t stop smiling now.

EDIT!!!: He just called too. We talked for 15 minutes and it was SO good to hear his voice. *sigh* I’m on cloud 9 and not coming down for awhile. OH and he’s been accepted into shock!!!! That means he’ll be out in 7 months at the latest. Once he starts the program there are 180 days till he’s home. YAAAAAAAAY!!!
