Here’s my Recap of ‘07… and here’s to hoping ‘08 is how I perceive it will be. Rough at the beginning but full of prospect and hope around the 7th/8th months.

January: I had just broke up with Mike after dating for a year and 9 months and was getting accustomed to Randy when I found out he had previous trouble and went off to jail. I was really depressed with dealing with a recent breakup and having lack of friends or anyone around me. I was somewhat busy with work and school though so that kept me quite busy.

February: Randy was moved to rehab so things weren’t as difficult as the previous. I was extremely busy driving back and forth from school everyday, Pat and I began hanging out a ton, Layla had a litter of puppies. I also ended up cheating on Randy with Mike at a moment of weakness which he forgave me for and we stayed together. At the end of the month I got my eyebrow pierced.

March: Randy got moved to the Halfway house in Niagara falls. I got both my lip and tongue pierced as well as getting my very first tattoo. I also began having epileptic seizures again which was a real downfall on my health. School was extremely stressful for me because I was working, driving up to see Randy 50 miles away every other day, and taking 22 credit hours. I was a busy busy girl indeed. My car also basically shit the bed this month.

April: My escort died and I almost contemplated dropping out of school but I managed to buy a 2006 Ford Focus a few days later. I was really stressed over school and constantly thought about dropping out. Pat moved in since we hung out 24/7 anyways.

May: I began working at IGA since it was too far to drive to Buffalo to work at the helpdesk during the summer. My seizures kept acting up more intensely. I managed to get 4 A’s, 2 A-’s, and one B for the semester with 22 credit hours. I was actually pretty happy overall.

June: I totalled my Focus and ended up not having a vehicle that I trusted to drive any longer. I put my jimmy which was in medicore condition back on the road and Randy and I hit the 6 month mark while he kept progressing in the halfway house.

July: I almost had a fling with a co-worker but it never amounted to anything thankfully. Randy ended up leaving the halfway house due to circumstances not working out the way they could’ve and it was partially my fault. We moved to West Virginia after a big fight with my mom. I left IGA obviously and also decided that I was going to take some time off of school.

August: We lived with my aunt and uncle during this month. I started working at rite-aid as a cashier. Randy and I had a bit of issues with him hanging out with Bert and drinking once or twice… which I strongly disapproved of.

September: We moved back to NY after finding out the place we were going to move into ended up flaking out. I got back into the ‘net swing since in WV i was basically cut off. I went back and began working at IGA again. I also took my truck off the road so I wouldn’t have to pay insurance any longer.

October: Nothing too much happened. I got my labret pierced but took it out soon afterwards. Most time was spent working, hanging out with Heather/Pat (smoking a lot of weed), and spending time with my baby boy.

November: I ended up quitting IGA due to shitty management and picked up PPP to get some cash on the side. Randy and I had to move into the attic because my dad’s boss wanted his bedroom back and we spent a nice amount of time working on that. On the very last day of the month Randy was picked up by the police and taken in on his warrant.

December: 90% of the time was spent researching and thinking about everything associated with Randy. It ended up being a 6 month sentence in boot camp which will begin sometime next month meanwhile he sits in prison awaiting movement.

  1. From reading through your month by month recap it seems you’ve had some pretty rough times in 2007 - I hope that 2008 is much better for you and that it brings you many good memories and fun times with your family, friends and especially Randy. (And just so you know…thanks for the comments on my entries :))

  2. The new layout is cute…Simple layouts always seem to be the best! I hope ‘08 is a lot better for you than ‘07!!

  3. 2007 really took you for quite a ride! I don’t know about you, but I’m glad that 2007 is over. I’m hoping that 2008 is calm!
