Layout switch again, family game night

Well I switched themes again. I liked my pink and blue with white one but it’s real light on some monitors and looks atrocious in IE for some reason. I couldn’t figure it out whatsoever so I’m switching and maybe one day I’ll get some inspiration to make one. I think soon I’m going to modify this theme’s colors and such to make it “me” (with credit to the original author of course). We’ll see.

Things have been alright. On New Year’s Eve things were medicore. I got somewhat buzzed on Pina Coladas and Strawberry Daquaris buuuuut my brother and I got into it a bit… he called me fat and 5,000 pounds and a nice slew of things which really upset me along with “nigger” (because I listen to rap music) and “whore” so from like 8:15-10:30 I was upstairs crying and writing a letter. He’s 12…. it still hurt to be called that. Then I came back downstairs and hung out a bit with mom, Stacy, and Lisa. Bedtime was around 2am, quite early in my mind.

Then yesterday was all about playing games. Mom went and got a couple Christmas things 75% off and picked up electronic monopoly while she was there. Very cool I must say, so much easier do to the math especially with it having the millions and hundreds of thousands now. The tokens are a dog in a purse, an airplane, electric scooter, HDTV, altoids… and something else and the most expensive property is times square. Very cool. I won of course. Then we played 3 games of clue which I also won and then phase 10. I won that too. I was on a roll. It ended up being like 6 hours of gaming. Whew baby. We’re working on building our collection. Next on my list is the updated life, maybe the Pirates version. I already have Monopoly here and now. I love board games. So much fun.

And nooooooow I’m off to go watch America’s next top model on youtube and… well I’m not quite sure what else.

I really like clean and simple themes like this, though changing the colors to suit you is always a good thing. :) I really need to get motivated to make a new them for January…thanks for reminding me of that! lol

Well I’m glad that at least half of your new years was fun. :) I LOVE me some board games, but only if there’s a lot of people to play with and crack up with. :) Josh’s family and I used to have a game night every Saturday night (I can kick some ass in Monopoly!) but then he switched jobs and has to work on Saturdays now. :( Oh well, I’d like to get back into the habit though.

That was really inconsiderate of your brother to call you those names…even if he is only 12, he should know better. :( Anyway, take care!

Your brother had no right to say those things to you…even if he is 12. My 13 year old brother would’ve gotten yelled at if he disrespected me that way! We have game nights at our house quite often…we are all board game fanatics! We played a few on New Year’s eve…
