As most of you know, I’m a geek (just look at the domain name) and love to spend time researching and playing with computers, both hardware and software. I own 3 computers once my custom one finishes being built this month and actually I’ve decided to make sure that I get a nice computer memory upgrade with this computer. I have 1 gig in this one, 512MB in my primary, and my new one is going to have a whopping 2 gigs. Memory was a huge factor in my decision to build a computer. I was debating between 2 and 4 gigs but I figure if 2 isn’t enough then I’ll just grab 2 more and pop them in. Simple and practical indeed. Of course, I also carefully considered whether to get 2 sticks of 1GB apiece of a 2 gig stick but I was told having separate sticks actually can increase productivity. It’s worth a shot.
