Another exhausting yet amazing Saturday Chronicle

I love my mom…. so much. I can’t even begin to express how amazing she is not only to me but to everyone she is around. She always puts herself second and takes care of everyone’s needs before her own. One of the least selfish people I’ve ever known. My visit today was all made possible by her driving 3 1/2 hours round trip, spending $20 of HER money on gas, $5 on tolls, and nearly $20 in there for vending machine stuff like drinks, lunch, snacks, etc for 3 people.

We left at 6:30, got there around 8:20 and were 19th in line. We got in at about 10am. No problems. We had a couple nice talks, I felt that mom was getting bored but she sat there with a smile on her face. He’s upset about what is going on with his mom… basically she stole money from work and was fired. She’s now facing a grand larceny charge which is why hes in…. I thought she’d have learned something from all of this. Otherwise he didn’t want to discuss them because as he says, they’re in another world he wants no real part of. He’s worried about my newfound strength because he fears I’ll decide I don’t need him and toss him to the side. Always the worrier my baby… the key to that fact is that this newfound strength is fueled 99% by him and knowing how much he loves me. Good visit…. he’s being shipped out next week most likely but I’m not going to speculate. That causes too much commotion in my mind. I’ve determined from here on out I want to go alone though, we have better conversations and don’t have to feel bad about anyone getting bored with our lovey dovey stuff.

Long ride back. Made roast beef for dinner real quick. Now I’m drinking ginger ale, eating dinner, and then going to darvocet myself up a bit while I relax. My staples did NOT appreciate sitting in that chair most of the day. In fact, they gave me a nice “fuck off” when I got home. Oh is it wednesday yet? I’m sick of them.

If anyone else ever has to take you, maybe they could just drop you off and ride around/shop/etc? I’m sure you two would want some alone time when you are visiting. I’m glad you got to go, but you are so determined, it doesn’t surprise me that you found a way!
