Well quite a few things have been happening lately. Let’s do a bullet list, nice and simple.

  • He’s been moved to Summit, it’s 240 miles away. Very negative for us but positive because he’s got a release date. July 31st and he’ll be home for his birthday August 1st! I’m going to try to get out there once a month. It’s about $65 for gas and if I decide, I found hotels for $82/night which sucks. I wish I could find something cheaper. Knowing me, I’d just drive the 4 hours, visit, and drive back because I can’t fathom spending that much.
  • Mom gave me $297 since it was supposed to be $250 BUT she ended up spending more on my brother’s ps3 (extra game, extra controller). I think she spent something like $640 on them combined. I also bought 4 pair of undies and some new socks while at wal-mart. She got herself a $700 laptop. (She deserves it, she rarely buys things for herself)

    I also bought my brother an 8400 video card b/c he told me if i do he’ll give me my laptop back. He gets a computer back (Randys), I get my laptop back, and Randy will have my current one AND my new one gets finished. We all win ;)

  • Um, so otherwise I’m doing alright. Still don’t have a job but submitted my resume to the hospital so maybe I’ll get a call back. They’re hiring like crazy from their website I noticed. Cross your fingers for me!
  • I’m getting $450 back in taxes this year, that’s 3 visits to see him if I do hotels. So I’ve got march, april, and May covered. 2 more! Oh, and if I don’t get a hotel room then it’ll be March, april, may, june, july, and 2 extras if I decide to splurge like do a feb and then double one month… so maybe we’ll get to see each other afterall. PLUS i’ve been doing occasional paid blogging so… we’ll make it just fine
