We live in the age of credit, this age has been here for awhile but now it’s considered odd to carry cash while when I was a child it was different for people to have credit cards. Debit and credit are pretty much required everywhere you go from booking hotel rooms to even renting video games. I personally have 5 different credit cards plus a debit card and have obtained a car loan on my own before. Credit is something you don’t want to mess with because it can be the difference of thousands of dollars you pay because of horrible interest rates for individuals with low credit or phenomenal (0% anybody) for those spectacular individuals.
I get my credit report every 4 months, since all 3 of the credit agencies have to give out 1 per year to individuals. I space mine out to keep a steady eye on mine. It’s important to do so and maybe people use services such as lifelock to monitor their credit AND protect themselves from identity theft because if this occurs, expect a huge stressor in your life and lots of money and time will be lost in the process. I ought to follow suit and enroll, better safe than sorry.
