How was the weather for you lovely ladies today? It was BEAUTIFUL here today. I was roasting actually, it got close to 80 and it’s going to be in the 70’s for the rest of the weekend. We bought 2 dog leashes today since we couldn’t find our other ones. Layla and Shadow had a field day, their excitement over going for walks is adorable. Ryan got pulled into a ditch when Shadow went gunning for a groundhog hole though Layla was yanking the entire time though. She must be trying to work off all that extra weight she gained from popping out 8 puppies. It’s a good thing dogs don’t wear clothes, we’d have had to shopping for some dog maternity clothes because she got HUGE.

Speaking of puppies, they’re doing as good as ever. They’re supposed to be started on puppy food between 3-4 weeks and tomorrow marks their 4 week mark. They’re beginning to venture outside of the back room into the kitchen. We keep “oooh” and “aww”‘ing over them because their little selves are so cute. It’s sad that they’ll be ready to go in only 2 weeks, I’m getting quite attached to them. Here are two pictures I took earlier of the brats.
