I’m sitting here going through old VCR tapes looking for an old movie that I taped on Lifetime like… 10 years ago minimum. I managed to do that yesterday with a different one after only 2 attempts. Then I recorded it to DVD but THAT took 3 attempts because occasionally the tape went out from a bad part on the track and it made my DVD go haywire so one DVD has 3 different tracks on it that is really one movie. It’s so interesting to see what movies we taped and stuff. Having to rewind and fast forward tapes makes me so grateful for things like satellite communications, high speed internet, DVD players, and a lot more things that we see nowadays as necessities instead of luxuries only. Computers come to mind mainly. ;)

  1. Man, I can’t believe that VCRs are still around. I had a laugh at my dad when I found a whole bunch of old video tapes, like Disney movies and stuff… We havent had a VCR in about 10 years so I don’t know why we still have the tapes! :o
