The phone calls, visits and stuff are one thing but having to pretty much carry out his divorce for him, including serving the papers, is probably not a good idea. In the off chance she tries to claim the "I never got any papers!" BS then it's a reliable server with a proved track record, not the girlfriend of the husband. Ya know? I was going to have a friend serve my ex and my lawyer was like, "Oh hell no!" Pay the $25 to have somebody do it and save everybody from the drama. Seriously, it's HIS mistake to fix and there's no reason he can't get it fixed from jail since it doesn't require anything from him but paperwork.
