Well in 27 minutes it’s going to be April. I’m not complaining. That’s one month closer to November which is the month of gold for us. Oh, and we’re at 241 days as of April 1st or 7 months, 3 weeks, and 6 days. Either way you’d like to put it works. I have a gyno appt to get tested on Thursday and the 3 thursdays after that I’m in mental health for counseling/psych evaluation for meds. Mom’s birthday and Pat’s court date are also this month. Whew, busy busy!

I got a voicemail on our house # from the interviewer today at 3:20pm but we don’t answer unknown calls which is why we didn’t answer. So tomorrow when I get up I’m going to call her back but I’m assuming I got the job since she called back. *dancing* That excites me. Especially because it’s a mere 2-3 miles away and gas is approaching $3.50/gallon. Cheaper and saves me time. If I work at 11pm I’m gone at 10:45 and still early. Oh, it’s an 11-7 night gate position for the campground btw.

I’ve determined that I want to come and see you soon Jenn. You’re about 40 miles longer than Randy was when he was in Summit so it’s not THAT long of a drive. We need to talk and work something out. For real. Offer is open to anyone else in the vicinity as well..

Randy and I reduced calls down to 2 a day, it’s rough but we’re adjusting pretty well. I canvased a lot of today and almost have the Hufflepuff side of my box done! You know you’re too into it when you make mom to go walmart at 8:30 at night for 3 skeins of yarn. I think I’m up to about 15 now, not too shabby. I’m going to get a dark blue and maybe orange on Thursday. I’m a dork, I know.

I have been using Windows for years now, XP mainly, and never really played with Windows Movie Maker until today and I spent about an hour creating a video on why buy.com rocks. I had fun with it using different effects and images. Couldn’t quite find a good song to fit in though but that’s alright and file size remained low without sacrificing quality. I like to plan ahead for gifts so I’m not rushing around last minute to come up with something to buy. It’s no secret that I hate shopping in stores anyways due to crowds, time, etc.. so buy.com is a great solution. I buy what I need, avoid the hassle of shopping, and everyone is happy! This also works for the holidays coming up like mother’s day and father’s day as well. It seems like everything is creeping up, right around the corner. Without further ado, here are the results.

Well I’ve been talking about canvas for a week.. maybe even more perhaps? I had ongoing projects and I’ve completed a couple and I promised a certain someone *cough*Kecia*cough* I’d post pics. I finished Randy’s bookmark Monday but I sent it out before I took a picture. I do have mine that I finished, along with 2/50 states since I’m doing somewhat of a puzzle on my wall with them, and my biggest accomplishment is my two bears with the heart. That has taken me the longest. Pardon any mistakes because I’m far from perfect, I’ll get better with time and experience.

In a way it’s bittersweet though. My grandma used to really be into crafty stuff but since my grandfather died of lung cancer, although it wasn’t mesothelioma in 2000 she’s really fallen into a “I don’t care” attitude and watches tv the majority of time now. She used to make some pretty amazing things, including her own patterns for crocheting blankets and such. (more…)

I feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day anymore, it’s driving me nuts. The time pacing is never right, either too fast or too slow. W-T-F? I keep mentioning canvasing but I don’t want to show anybody the states until we complete them and I can’t show my bears/heart thing until it’s complete. So… I promise eventually I’ll show you all what I have been doing when it comes together. I want to send the bears to Randy but I don’t know if they’ll let him have them. We’ll see, if not I’ll get them back. There are so many possibilities though, it excites me.

I’ve been keeping very busy lately. At first I decided I’d attempt to start knitting and ran into a wall after learning to cast on so the needles are sitting in my tote. Then my grandmother attempted to show me how to crochet and I can start but it’s confusing when things keep getting crossed. FINALLY Dianna (Randy’s mom) showed me how she was doing plastic canvas on Sunday when I was there and she actually helped me make a magnet right off of the bat. It’s cute. So I decided to initiate a burial policy for my knitting needles and crochet hooks for now and do plastic canvasing for time killing instead. My first project is 2 bears holding a heart that says I love you. I found a ton of patterns online to do and Dianna has hundreds. Now all I need to do is build up my yarn collection. I now have coffee, cherry red, white, aran, teal, and black. I need SO many more to do all the things I want. I’m going to be doing a harry potter tissue box and maybe a set of carebears. Dianna and I are also talking about doing this state magnets one and then assembling them on her fridge but it’d take a LONG time. We’ll see
