After my long (bed at 7am ftw) night I now have a slew of games including but definitely not limited to diner dash 1-4, sally’s salon, pet paradise, daycare nightmare, warcraft III/frozen throne, Need for speed carbon, underground2, and most wanted, Call of duty 4, starcraft/brood war, half life 2, and I think a couple other games installed. I do think I’ve got some nice time killers going on here. *pets the lovely computer* We also got a brand new printer yesterday, ’tis quite nice.

I called Summit this morning (well, afternoon considering I slept ’till 2:30) and his visit is indeed this Sunday and every other Sunday until July 31st so if I intend on going again, it’ll be February 24th. We’ll see. We shall see indeed. I’ll probably hold off though. Depends on how this one goes, I’m nervous about this 4 hour drive. Speaking of which, I need to burn 4 different CDS. I want different genres to keep me awake. I’ll be up late tonight, sleep EXTREMELY (think dinnertime) long tomorrow, and then be up to leave my house at 4am. Meh, it’ll work.

My contacts are on my last nerve. Yesterday my right one gave me issues, today it’s the left. I think it’s on inside out and I can’t get it out because my eye is extremely irritated and I’m sick of touching it. I’ll continue with the trial pair and if I can’t do it by the time it’s time to get more, I’m swearing off contacts for good. Maybe they’re just not for me and I’ll have to keep the glasses. *shrug* We’ll see.

Well I made up my mind and without going into details because a couple other details have surfaced in the past 2 days, I’m not telling him. I don’t really want to completely explain ALL of it because I feel very repetitive but after careful consideration and some opinions from friends whom I feel very close to and trust very much, I think it’s for the best. Considering the circumstances of where he is, where I am, and all of what is going on I think it wouldn’t help anything and if he needs to know it will come out eventually. He doesn’t need this on top of being in prison, if anything it will cause him detrimental effects in his program which needs to be his top priority. Otherwise I just spent a night at Andrea’s and had a lot of fun hanging out NOT around my house for once. I got a night of complete relaxation although some drama surfaced but meh, it’s life. I still had fun and then came home to my new computer which I had to complete putting together and now I’m running Vista with 4 gigs of RAM, a KICKASS video card, and a 2.6 dual core AMD. This computer is totally orgasmic and the fact that I built it from the ground up with no help makes it 10x more satisfying. I’m busy reinstalling all my programs and games now, it’s taking quite a bit. Oh, I got contacts today too and I’m still adjusting. I always feel like it’s not in correctly or backwards, hopefully as time goes on I’ll be more comfortable in them.

I’m so tired right now, *yawn* but I feel that this task at hand is going to be a pain to finish so I’d rather have it done tonight and relax tomorrow enjoying the awesomness.

Is it sunday yet? I need to see Randy… for oh so many reasons and such. I haven’t written him a letter all week because I don’t want anything that I DO discuss (he is getting some of this told to him, not the worst though) to be misinterpreted without me there to talk to him about it. I MUST remember to call Summit tomorrow though. I have to be positive he’s getting a visit this week, I refuse to drive 4 hours each way for nothing.

There has been wayyyyyyy too much computer stuff going on in my house lately, more specifically my dining room. It looks like a computer repair shop at the moment. I have my dell which I’m on right now. Randy’s dell is pieced apart right now because Rob is taking that computer (with the new video card) and giving me back my Sony Laptop. THEN next to me I have my partially built computer which is going to be completed next week. I’ll then own 3 computers.

Then we’ve got mom’s brand new laptop which she’s using at the dining room table and she’s got a friend’s we were borrowing because her old one crapped the bed. THAT one is going to be used for Ryan because we just bought a new motherboard for it and a gig of ram. *breathes* Whew, that was exhausting so tomorrow is a bit of a switch with hard drives and formatting and reinstalling windows. Then once the new parts get here we’ll get to do it all again right? I’m thinking Vista for my new comp (4 gigs of ram baby) and vista for the laptop (it was built for vista, impossible to find drivers for the wireless swtich/media reader, and leave XP in this one for Randy until I get some cash to have this one upgraded a bit. Crazy!

I wonder sometimes if I ought to move out of this crazy house of nerds and seek out some land for sale Branson condos which are pretty prevalent in availability. Maybe a different area while have a new air to it.

Earlier today I received my new PSU since I had to RMA the previous. I hooked up my nifty media reader, popped and screwed in the hard drive, inserted the RAM I had, and then screwed in and hooked all the power sources up and I have to say I’m in LOVE with this computer. I obviously can’t run it yet without a video card or processor but those alien green lights look AMAZING. It will be done once mom receives her tax returns… and the employment places only have until January 31st to send the W-2s so HURRY UP DARNIT.

I have to burn the data on that HD first and then format it and put Vista on it I think. Yep… I do believe that will be the plan since it supports DX10. I’ll have to get accustomed to it. I think the computer is costing me roughly $600? Howeve,r the components in it top the pre-made ones found in stores. I’m just glad I’m not doing anything technological that requires any fiber cable, I’m not able to go THAT in depth. Keep it simple thanks and we’ll be all set.
