I’ve been on a movie obtaining spree lately. In the past 2 days I’ve burned silence of the lambs, I am Sam, A little princess, Coyote Ugly, and Queen of the Damned with more to come. I’ll have a nice selection for work tonight. I’m also going to be canvasing as always. My boss likes to steal my movies as well for entertainment. I don’t even think the hotel is OPEN tonight so IDK why we have to work but I won’t complain about the extra hours I’m going to have. I have 32 this week, I could definitely use that money. I’m also contemplating resubscribing to netflix as well. I love that service and it’s so quick. We’ll see though. There are quite a bit of things requiring money on my plate this week. I won’t be looking at any tungsten rings for father’s day or my dad’s birthday 2 weeks afterwards, I’ll tell you that much. Bills, vet, entertainment, Randy, vehicle. Money money money! Any good movie recommendations are appreciated, i’m going to be building quite the queue.

I do not feel good at all right now. I know I’ve been saying this all week long but I was in phases. I’d get better for a bit and then crash and burn again waking up to not being able to breathe and having massive issues with sinus congestion. I’m still blowing my nose like crazy and it’s not coming out to be very pretty. I promised Randy I’d go to a doctor on Monday since it’s going on 3 weeks that I’ve been sick now. I thought it would’ve gotten better by now but obviously it’s not and I probably need to get some antibiotics to help me get over this bout of “Let’s knock Amanda on the ground for almost the whole month”. On another note I’m sick of the kids complaining that they have nothing to do. It’s nice out, go outside and play or something. We have 3 gaming systems and computers along with board games and all of that. The technology available with the aid of satellite communications gives endless possibilities of things to do compared to back when the only thing was to go outside and play hide-and-seek or use the old school super Nintendo system which wasn’t as entertaining as computers and the like. It’s not hard to find something to do with all of this but that’s the way kids are I guess.

My internet was out for about 28 hours and I think I was having mad anxiety over it. That is absolutely pathetic, I can admit it. I was going nuts with boredom. It’s good I had to work otherwise I would’ve really gone crazy. I had my psychiatrist appointment this morning and I was waiting for an hour and a half BUT my appointment was like 3 minutes. No invasive questions about my boyfriends and such thankfully. He gave me Ambien for sleep and Lexapro for depression and it said it deals with mild anxiety and it may suppress your appetite as well so hopefully it works out well. However, my insurance won’t cover the Ambien so I need to find out if there’s a different sleep aid i can find that they WILL cover because he said that he’ll give me something else if I have to. I see him again in a month. So that stressful stuff is over.

While we were waiting for the internet to come back up we played 2 games of phase 10 which proved to be quite entertaining. I lost though, poo. My mom won like she always does. I hate losing but thankfully I’m not like my little brother who throws things, screams, and gets extremely pissy. I’m excited right now though now that I’m back online. I have to leave in 1/2 hour for work though. Then back home to pass out. I still feel like crap though because my sinuses are acting up. My nose has been running like leaky faucets. My eyes keep watering too. Argh!

Well in the previous post I mentioned that I went to the park and our park is located in the woods pretty much. It was really fun playing on the equipment, looking at nature, smelling the fresh air, walking the trails, and you’ve gotta love getting bit my mosquitoes! We acted like such little kids on the equipment but omg I had so much fun in that hour or so. Then on the way back home we stopped at the deli and I had an amazingly delicious hot fudge Sunday. O-M-G it hit the spot I tell you. I’m going to post a few of my favorites here but you can view the rest on my flickr which can be accessed via the sidebar. Today has been a pretty interesting/fun day. I didn’t go to bed last night for one so everything is a bit cooky when you’re super tired like right now. But at least I’ll be in bed at like 10 or 11 tonight. I watched American Pie 5 the naked mile and it was LAME. The movies always are when the original actors are replaced. I came downstairs at about 7 and Layla was outside so I let Pebbles out with her for a bit and like 10 minutes later they’re both 1/2 mile down the road! SO Ryan and I took the leashes and chased them down. Layla had to be caught by the tail and pebbles was exhausted but muddy from going in the ditch so I made her walk back instead of carrying her. Then I made the poor dog take a bath because she stunk and well, here was the result.

It’s taking me forever to upload these pictures right now. I love living in the country at times and options are limited in terms of pretty much anything. You take what you can get. If we were to have an internet satellite out here I’m sure many people would take advantage of that. I know my aunt lives so far out all she can get is dial up still! *dies a little inside* I’d never be online then, NO patience for that.
