Busy beavers

Friday, June 27th, 2008

Well well well, talk about money burning a hole in my pocket. I spent way too much today but I feel accomplished. I bought 2 pair of shorts, 3 summery shirts, a pair of swimming trunks from the guys’ section, a lamp, and some stuff from Joann’s for my canvasing. I feel very good though because everything I bought fit and my aunt said it looked like I’d lost a lot of weight when I was trying my stuff on. :) Tell me that doesn’t make a person smile?

I work tonight and tomorrow and then I will be seeing my cousins this weekend, going into the park, and basically being a busy beaver. I love being busy, it makes time go by so much faster. Speaking of time, we’ve got 5 months and 1 day left until Randy comes home. We’ve also moved our wedding up, it’s going to be a December wedding. December 22nd to be exact, our 2 year dating anniversary. Once we have his guaranteed arrival home (next month we get the answer!) we’re going to begin doing the actual planning. I’m so excited! Everything seems to be going positively, I’ll keep crossing my fingers that they continue in that direction. He’s got court Monday so hopefully THAT will go smoothly as well. Tonight I’ve got disk 3 of army wives (I’m addicted no thanks to JENN), don’t tell mom the babysitter’s dead, clueless, and broken bridges to watch. I think I’m also going to finish off watching Saw III and IV since I watched 2 last night.

My boyfriends back and you’re gonna be in trouble

Ugh, I feel so incredibly ew. I ate way too much fast food today while running errands and my stomach is feeling it hardcore. It amazes me how some people actually eat all this junk and then expect to do get something like Phentermine no prescription required and expect to omg lose all this weight on it. Common sense people, get some.

I got myself a pair of swimming trunks today to wear as shorts around Darien Lake on Monday. I hate buying from the women’s section because they’re too short, overpriced, and ugly. I also got a visor to wear, I’m all set for Monday. Otherwise life is pretty boring actually. I’ve been working and the cousins are coming up tomorrow night which should be pretty cool indeed. I miss them loads. I’m also hoping to see Randy in 2 weeks. Nothing ever changes lately, just same old blah blah.

some books and a chifforobe

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008

Mom and I went to town today and that is toxic because I always spend money on SOMETHING. Today? My purchase was McDonald’s, $3 for my zolpidem, and we went to a consignment shop and I got 8 books (paperback are 8/$1, how can you go wrong?!!!) My big purchase was a chifforobe for $65 since my dresser is like, dead. So I’m getting that on Friday with my dad’s friend’s truck. My list of books are

  • A perfect Stranger - Danielle Steel
  • The Adventures of Huck Finn - Mark Twain
  • The Devil’s Advocate - Andrew Neiderman
  • The Grapes of Wrath - Steinbeck
  • Daddy - Danielle Steel
  • The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
  • All around the town - Mary Higgins Clark
  • Loves Music loves to Dance - Mary Higgins Clark

Now i have lots of books to read and I got Army Wives disk 1, election, and six pack from Netflix today. I’ve got a lot of movies to watch on my laptop and reading along with canvasing as well. I could play the Sims 2 but I don’t like how it runs without more laptop memory. It’s only got a gig and runs Vista so it’s not exactly ideal.

exhaustion is setting in

Saturday, June 21st, 2008

I’m freezing. Now that I’ve got that bit of information out of the way… I’m exhausted. I’ve been going on a few hours of sleep each night until today when I finally got to sleep from like 8 till 4:30 when Randy called. I wish he wouldn’t, really. Knowing that I work nights he should do his one call per day at night, think 9:00. He calls both though which is his loss because I have a $100/month limit and it will be exceeded by Sunday. No more money being added until next week but tough cookies. He knows the rules. I can only do so much about it. Limits are in place for a reason. Tomorrow is my 6th day in a row of work and you can bet Monday evening is going to be spent doing absolutely nothing. I just feel totally completely drained right now. It doesn’t help that at work I have to either stand or sit on a totally uncomfortable stool. It’d be nice to have something more appealing like teak furniture maybe. I think maybe I’m going to buy a chair I can bring. Seriously. I already bring my dinner, a laptop, and my canvasing stuff so I carry 3 bags in. Why not a comfy chair too?

doggy loving

Friday, June 20th, 2008

I mentioned on Lavish how we took Shadow to the vet yesterday to get his shots. He’s healthy in regards to weight and everything but we questioned about his eye which is glassy and she confirmed that he is indeed blind in his left eye. My poor boy. :( She said it was probably trauma to his eye at some time from playing around or anything it could’ve been.

Pebbles gets her second round of shots next Friday and then she has 1 more appointment to finish them all up. THEN Layla needs to get hers done once she is done. One dog at a time. Then we get to get all 3 of them licensed and we’re going to be getting both of the girls spayed. *Whew* I can definitely feel it in my pocket at each visit costing at least $40 but the fur babies are totally worth it. You can’t put a price on the doggy kisses you get from a (3) dogs when you walk through the door or the snuggle you get when they all try to sleep in your bed. They like to plop themselves anywhere that is comfortable whether it’s the floor, the couch, the bed, or I’m sure they would hop in baby bassinets if they were within reach. They’ve also been known to sleep on top of people. Haha. Fat doggies.
