Some wedding traditions are completely over my head and I feel so sheltered in that aspect. I don’t know ANYTHING about what goes on when and this or that so I’m really depending on Stacy, my sister, mom, and aunt a LOT for organizing and planning. One thing Stacy mentioned is that usually the bride buys things for her bridesmaids and maid of honor for their help and the groom does the same for his groomsmen. Stacy recommended jewelry of some type for the bridesmaids. Something small and cute is what we’ve got in mind. However, I have no idea what he would get his groomsmen. Their ages range from 17-24 so they’re all pretty young. I don’t think that they’d wear any jewelry like titanium rings but maybe they’d wear watches because I know all 3 of them actually do. I’m sure he’ll be able to come up with something though. So if anyone has any input about things they did at their wedding for anything from favors to food and decorations to anything quirky I’m open to hearing about it.

We did a crapload of wedding planning last night and it’s still over a year away! We decided on June 20th as the date though. Colors are lilac and white and we found the bridesmaid dresses, my dress that I’m in love with, where we’re having it, the food we’re having, my ring has been picked out, and we know who is going to be in the wedding party and approximately how many people are going to be invited. We still need to get some input from Randy like whether he’d want a titanium wedding band or a silver or gold one. I honestly have no clue. He’s kinda leaving everything up to me though because he wants it to be exactly how I imagined it. I find it to be quite cute actually. Stacy is really jumping on this deal and my mom even got into it a bit. My sister is all about doing everyone’s hair and makeup for it as well. I’m quite overwhelmed to be honest because this is all new to me. I’ve never been into any of this so I’m getting a lot of help from everyone who has been through this. Now we need to make sure Randy gets home in November and we can really get things underway.
