Weight Loss - Week #1

Well for it being only halfway through day 1 can I say I’m doing well? I’m avoiding the kitchen to keep the temptation of snacking at bay. My brother and I went for a walk earlier and we walked for an hour nonstop, I ended up going 3 miles and him 2.25. That means I burned over 400 calories according to spark people. I was WHIPPED when I got done. Then I did my strength training and finally took a shower. I’m exhausted right now and I ache but I feel very satisfied. I’ve followed the meal plan so far and have been fulfilled when eating. Right now I’m making dinner which is boneless/skinless chicken with whole wheat spaghetti, parmesan, and marinara sauce. It’s about 450 calories, my daily goal is between 1600-1900 based on spark people.

I’m surprised that I actually went out and walked, I wanted to turn around SO many times or stop as my lungs felt like they were collapsing, my calves burned, and I was soaked in sweat but I didn’t let myself give up and I’m quite proud. The traffic was insane for our little back road though. I must’ve seen 30 cars, that’s unusual for us. A few were pickups but a couple were Really nice cars that looked brand new. If I had one of those I’d be sure to look into getting a car cover to protect it from the elements. A big purchase like that requires care.

On Fridays is when I’m going to do measurements and weigh in so pardon this post.
