Well work last night was very amusing. Since it was the DMB concert I dealt with a LOT of drunk guys. One guy walked up to the gate and wanted a hotel room and we had him all set up and everything and then he asked me to go up to his room. I was like WHAT?!! Bridget was like “No, she has to work” while we’re trying hard not to laugh hysterically. Then he’s like “Well what about after work?” O-m-g. He asked Morgan up at the desk the same thing and offered her $100. She said “What, do I look like a hooker?” right to his face. Then another guy was wasted and couldn’t navigate to his campsite he said and I kept explaining how to get there and he was like “Do you have like… a MAGIC marker to show me how to get there?” I was laughing with him trying to explain it and he’s like “Naw, I’m gonna end up sleeping in the ditch trying to find that”. What a riot. Once the concert people died down it became very slow and boring. I watched legally blonde 2 which I thought sucked in comparison to the original and the sword in the stone which is an awesome movie that I used to watch in my childhood. Of course it’s kind of hard to hear things on my laptop because it’s nothing like a flat panel TV with a tv wall mount of course. It works while I’m sitting in my little booth of course though. I need some new variety to my DVD collection. Wedding crashers was funny, I could stand to watch that one a few more times.

Morgan asked me to work Sunday because there was a scheduling conflict so now i’ve got 6 days this week and will be working overtime on Sunday. Definitely not complaining there, extra money is always useful. Then next week I’ve got 5 days so I’m not going to be around all that often this summer if my schedule continues to be this packed with work plus everything else that goes on in everyday life. I’m not complaining. When I stay busy time goes by faster which means November is coming faster for me.

I found out why I had to work last night. The president and CEO of the company I work for were coming in and of course we cater to their every whim. So we had 3 of us working for one check in. I can’t complain, I got hours and it was a quick and simple process of opening the gate. They were late due to delayed flights since they came from Jacksonville, FL. Morgan made me laugh by commenting on why they were apologizing, it’s THEIR hotel but at least they’re polite and not power trippy. They were supposed to be here at 1 but didn’t get in until almost 4. That’s alright though, we worked all 8 hours no matter what time they decided to make their appearances. I don’t know if they’re too enthused about coming from FL to NY since I don’t think there’s much to offer here especially in comparison to staying somewhere like the St. Thomas villa rentals. Our hotel isn’t that bad though. It looks very cabin like on the inside and our rooms are decent. We also provided them with alcohol and snacks in their rooms for their arrival. Well I’m writing this from work and am going to post when I get home. It’s 12:31am and I have 6 and a half hours left until I can go home and take an Ambien and hopefully sleep a full rested 8 hours. I’m praying and hoping it works. Since my insurance isn’t doing full coverage for a month when I go back in June I’m going to see if I can go on a combination sedative/antidepressant so that I don’t have to deal with this anymore. I know Randy was on trazadone and he liked it’s effects especially for sleeping so I’m going to mention it. I looked at my schedule and I have Thursday and Friday night off which means… you guessed it. I am going to see him Saturday! Finally, after a full month apart. It’s going to be absolutely amazing to just hug and kiss him. I really wish I could be surfing the internet from work right now though something like receiving a signal from a mobile satellite. I’d be a bit more entertained than I am right now but for the most part I try to keep a nice supply of games or reading material on my laptop for my boring nights at work like Fridays when everyone has already checked in. Ah well, I can’t complain. I actually do like my job a lot.

I have to work tonight. In a way it’s good and in a way it’s not. Making money is good and so is an easy job with some awesome coworkers. I seriously love my supervisor and Sam who works the front desk. It’s just us 3 at night and I love it. We can all relate and get along so well. However with being sick and not sleeping it’s going to be rough to stay awake. I usually keep the lights off an just see by the bright commercial lighting we have outside but my likelihood of staying awake is a lot better with a bright little booth. I just like the darkness because it allows me to see the reflections of headlights for both the exit and entrances. I’ll live though. I’ll probably play the sims all night long again. I’ve been working on the TSR challenges lately and actually completed 2 in the past 2 days. Not too shabby. I need to get the EPs before I finish though otherwise I’ll have nothing to do. I’m working Fri-Mon this week and PRAYING I get some day next weekend off so I can go and see Randy. My check is going to be big on Friday too so I can afford it. I know I’ve said it before but we NEED this. It’s been way too long and those of you in love know how hard it is to be apart for any length of time, especially in circumstances such as ours.

The internet seems to be slow as of lately. Just, not a lot going on really and it’s quite dull I think. Like, I missed it when I didn’t have it but I think it’s a comfort thing. IF i need to check up on this I can IF I want to do that I can but otherwise? Meh. I’m really getting frustrated with my body though. I was sick for about a week or so and it looked like things were improving but I’ve taken another dive and my head hurts again and my nose is running still and eyes watering. Will this weather ever stop causing my body to act up? I like to feel good, not like I got run over. I slept from 8am-6pm today. Wowza! I have to be back to work in 3 hours, meh. It’s alright though, I don’t work again until Friday after this.

I need to think of things to do at work though. Sure, work is one but the actual work I have to do probably lasts like 20 minutes. Today we’ve got a lot of people checking out tomorrow so I’ll have a bit more to do but otherwise? It’s usually slower than slow. I can’t go online so I can’t occupy my time like I normally do or even go looking for different clothes like nfl jerseys because lord knows I need some new clothes. I watched the original Saw last night (In a booth ,in the dark, by myself. *STUPID*) and played some games. I’m thinking maybe the sims tonight, followed by saw 2/3, and then maybe House? We’ll see. I do know I like my job though, it’s good I can say that.
