I’m whipped and happy year and a half to us

*falls down on the ground and passes out* Oh hi everyone! I slept from 8am until 8:45pm today. Yes, almost 13 hours. I think my body is just exhausted from working the night shift and then not getting as much sleep as I should be. Last night the concert went really well. We didn’t have tons of people and no major issues with stupid drunk people. Tonight is going to be rather slow I imagine and up until Thursday we should have the same amount of slowness. Morgan comes back on Wednesday thankfully. I miss my awesome supervisor. I’m really just excited for Friday when my cousins from West Virginia are coming to visit. I can’t WAIT to see them.

Today is also my year and a half anniversary with Randy. :) Too bad we can’t celebrate at all but perhaps I’ll look through a travel guide to come up with ideas for future anniversaries. We’ve got quite a bit of catching up to do.

And I just discovered he can’t call me today because global tel had the line blocked. I hate how sometimes it doesn’t update right away and we don’t even expect the line to be blocked. I made a payment but considering it is Sunday… no calls till tomorrow. What a shitty day for this to happen.

Movie mania at work

I think I’m easily going to see over 200 movies this summer. My list is getting quite long, I think I’m going to add a page archiving all the movies I watch this summer. Netflix comes in handy here and not for a bad price either. Last night I watched the Notebook for the 23038th time and The forgotten which was a really good movie actually. I’ve got over 260 movies in my queue. I also have all of the Sims EPs installed on my laptop so work does have plenty to do to keep me occupied (let’s not forget my Christmas village, 4/6 buildings are now complete). The only thing that could improve is if we could have satellite internet services outside of the building so I could kill time online as well as offline. I’m addicted, what can I say?

exhaustion is setting in

I’m freezing. Now that I’ve got that bit of information out of the way… I’m exhausted. I’ve been going on a few hours of sleep each night until today when I finally got to sleep from like 8 till 4:30 when Randy called. I wish he wouldn’t, really. Knowing that I work nights he should do his one call per day at night, think 9:00. He calls both though which is his loss because I have a $100/month limit and it will be exceeded by Sunday. No more money being added until next week but tough cookies. He knows the rules. I can only do so much about it. Limits are in place for a reason. Tomorrow is my 6th day in a row of work and you can bet Monday evening is going to be spent doing absolutely nothing. I just feel totally completely drained right now. It doesn’t help that at work I have to either stand or sit on a totally uncomfortable stool. It’d be nice to have something more appealing like teak furniture maybe. I think maybe I’m going to buy a chair I can bring. Seriously. I already bring my dinner, a laptop, and my canvasing stuff so I carry 3 bags in. Why not a comfy chair too?

doggy loving

I mentioned on Lavish how we took Shadow to the vet yesterday to get his shots. He’s healthy in regards to weight and everything but we questioned about his eye which is glassy and she confirmed that he is indeed blind in his left eye. My poor boy. :( She said it was probably trauma to his eye at some time from playing around or anything it could’ve been.

Pebbles gets her second round of shots next Friday and then she has 1 more appointment to finish them all up. THEN Layla needs to get hers done once she is done. One dog at a time. Then we get to get all 3 of them licensed and we’re going to be getting both of the girls spayed. *Whew* I can definitely feel it in my pocket at each visit costing at least $40 but the fur babies are totally worth it. You can’t put a price on the doggy kisses you get from a (3) dogs when you walk through the door or the snuggle you get when they all try to sleep in your bed. They like to plop themselves anywhere that is comfortable whether it’s the floor, the couch, the bed, or I’m sure they would hop in baby bassinets if they were within reach. They’ve also been known to sleep on top of people. Haha. Fat doggies.

Leave me alone in my booth people!

It seems like I have lots of errands to run today. Thursdays and Fridays are always busy because mom and dad get paid Thursday and Rob and I on Fridays so we’re always running here and there and everywhere. It’s exhausting especially since I’ve been sleeping only 4 or 5 hours on some days and getting up and going to work. I’ll definitely enjoy Monday night when I don’t have to work and can just rest all day and evening.

Don’t get my wrong, I love my job as well but some people *coughsecurityguardscough* are on my nerves. I like to be left alone in my booth and not have my ear talked off for half and hour about this that and the other thing. Then the one questioned as to why I didn’t have an engagement ring on my finger and I told him because I don’t want any gold rings, titanium rings or any rings for that matter. I’ll have my wedding ring and that will be good enough. Engagement rings are only temporary anyways. I hope that one isn’t working tonight. I think I might bite his head off if he annoys me as much as he did last night.
